Besides being an obvious stud (see reference photo to the right) Stephen Hedger is an Actor in South Florida. He is a kind soul with a knack for theatrics. You might say his acting career started when he was a young boy, no older than 10 years old, homeschooled and lacking in basic social skills. He braved the stage of a local theatre co-op, and performed the entirety (approximately 10 min) of “If I Were A Rich Man,” singing along to a karaoke track, and frequently missing the tempo. But the crowd of 40 mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers went absolutely berserk for this young star. In the home video documenting this performance, you can see, as he takes his final bow, covered in praise and adoration, the exact moment when Stephen decided that this was what he wanted do for the rest of his life.*

Fast forward 20 years, and he is much the same as he was, perhaps a few more wrinkles and a little grumpier due to traffic and service industry jobs. Oh and a mustache, he does the mustache thing now too.

Stephen graduated with his minor in Musical Theatre, and spent the 3 years after graduation performing in Regional theatre in the South Florida area, including Shakespeare, Musicals, and various TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) shows that resembled sketch comedy more than education. In classic fashion, Covid-19 cut that theatre momentum short, but once the dust began to settle from the pandemic, he signed with a Talent Agency and gained experience in various commercials, voiceovers, and local films/short films. He has also dabbled in writing and casting. He is excited for the future and projects to come.
